My name is Aliana Maciel, and I am honored to be a contestant in the 2026 Luso American Education Foundation Convention Royalty Contest, proudly representing Youth Council #2 of San Jose.

When people hear the word “royalty,” they often imagine a traditional pageant—but this contest is something very different. Its purpose is to raise funds that directly benefit youth members through educational scholarships and valuable resources. The contestant who raises the most funds earns the title and receives a percentage of the funds raised toward their own educational scholarship.
